BRANDY / RUM SAUCE.

Serves 4

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons of Brandy/Rum
  • 1 level tablespoon of Cornflour
  • 1 cup ( 8 fl oz/250ml)milk less 2 tablespoons for mixing
  • 1 level tablespoon Caster Sugar

Method:

In a bowl blend the cornflour to a smooth paste with 2 tbsp milk. Bring the remaining milk to the boil and pour over the paste whilst stirring well. Return the sauce to the pan. Add the sugar, brandy/rum and cook over a low heat for 2-3 minutes. Serve
