BRANDY BUTTER RECIPE.
Serves 10
Ingredients
- 450g unsalted butter
- 225g soft light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
- 2 teaspoon grated orange rind
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- A pinch of nutmeg
- A pinch of cinnamon
- 6 tablespoons of brandy
Method
Cream butter until soft and white. Add sugar, beating continuously. Fold in lemon and orange rind, lemon juice and spices. Continue beating and fold in Brandy drop by drop. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
